Paid Time Off (PTO) Full-Time
Part-Time
CHS After 6 months service for regular full-time employees. Regular part-time employees who average 20 hours per week are eligible for PTO after 1 year. PTO can be used for vacation, personal time, minor illnesses, and holidays. Accrual of paid time off based on hours worked.
Extended Sick Leave (ESL) Full-Time
Part-Time
CHS After 6 months service for regular full-time employees. Regular part-time employees who average 20 hours per week are eligible for sick leave after 1 year. Extended Sick Leave is used for employee’s own illness or injury. Accrual of extended sick time based on hours worked.
Health Insurance Full-Time CHS & You First of the month following 30 days of becoming eligible Comprehensive benefits through TrustCare Health Insurance. Your portion of the premiums is deducted from your salary on a pre-tax basis.
Dental Insurance Full-Time You First of the month following 90 days of becoming eligible Dental Care Benefits through Citizens Security Life Insurance Co. Premiums deducted from your salary on a pre-tax basis.
Long-Term Disability Full-Time

You First of the month following 90 days of becoming eligible Available as a source of income protection through Jefferson Pilot Co. Coverage based on age and salary.
Group Term Life Insurance Full-Time CHS First of the month following 90 days of becoming eligible 1 x annual salary basic life & AD&D coverage with a $15,000 minimum through UNUM Provident.
Supplemental Term Life Insurance Full-Time You First of the month following 90 days of becoming eligible Employees can purchase up to 4 times their annual salary through UNUM Provident. Spouse and child coverage also available.
Voluntary Insurance Products Full-Time

You First of the month following 90 days of becoming eligible Employees can purchase supplemental insurance products through AFLAC. Cancer, sickness, accident, intensive care insurance on a pre-tax basis; short-term disability can be either pre-tax or post-tax. Life insurance is post-tax.

CHS & You After 6 months service and age qualification. Enrollments held January and July each year. Your contributions through Baden Retirement Plan are deducted from your salary on a pre-tax basis. CHS matches 100% of first 4% you contribute.
Flexible Spending Account Full-Time You First of the month following 90 days of becoming eligible You set aside dollars on a pre-tax basis for eligible health care or dependent care expenses.
Tuition Reimbursement Full-Time CHS After 6 months service and prior approval by department leader and HR Director Full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $1,500 per year for qualified college training, and up to $750 per year for technical training.
