CHS Emergency Medical Services  Crittenden EMS provides transport and transfer options, including quality emergency and non-emergency treatment and transport services to all neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, obstetric, and geriatric patients within the service area. Our primary objective is to meet or exceed the transport and treatment requirements of our patients in an economical, effective and professional manner. Crittenden EMS Ambulances are equipped with both intermediate and advanced life support equipment, which allows personnel to perform such activities as cardiac monitoring and defibrillation, cardiac medications, intravenous therapies, and advanced airway techniques. In addition the ambulances are equipped for, and personnel trained for, advanced immobilization, treatment and transport of the sick and injured. The department takes an active role in health education through certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, EMT, EMT - 1st Responders, Basic Trauma Life Support, Pediatric & Neonatal Life Support instructors. In addition the department is active in preventive health care through school presentations, health fairs, blood pressure clinics and other public education forums. CHS Emergency Medical Services |
