The Emergency Department of Crittenden Community Hospital is available to see patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ED is staffed with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.

Our staff, including Registered Nurses, are trained and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Trauma Life Support and Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum.

We care for a variety of illnesses and injuries, from ankle sprains and sore throats to heart attacks and motor vehicle accidents.

Our ED rooms are equipped with the latest medical equipment and supplies.

Our ED staff works closely with local physicians, ambulance services, helicopter services, mental health agencies and regional hospitals to render the best care for our patients. Most of our patients are able to be treated and released or admitted to the hospital. In emergency situations, we are able to stabilize the patient and then transfer them to another facility for continued care.
