Crittenden Community Hospital offers outpatient surgical and endoscopic services in a caring, professional environment. Our surgical team works with you and your healthcare provider to help you understand your procedure, prepare for your visit, and plan for recovery.
Our Surgical Services
Our services include:
• Colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD).
• Gallbladder surgery.
• Hernia repair.
• Breast biopsies.
• Removal of skin lesions, cysts, and other masses.
• Carpal tunnel release.
• Wound debridement.
• Placement and removal of certain medical access devices.
Your surgeon will evaluate your needs and discuss whether your procedure can be performed at CCH.

From your first consultation through recovery, our team focuses on your comfort, safety, and individual needs. We will explain what to expect, answer your questions, and provide instructions for caring for yourself after your procedure.
Preparing for Your Procedure
Our team will provide instructions about eating, drinking, medications, and arrival time. Follow the directions provided for your specific procedure, and contact us if you have questions.
If you will receive sedation or anesthesia, arrange for someone to drive you home and follow any additional instructions from your care team.
