Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Position Summary:
Crittenden Community Hospital is seeking a Specialty Clinic Supervisor to lead and support the daily operations of the Specialty Clinic. This full-time position oversees workflow, coordinators patient care activities, and provides direct support to specialty providers, including cardiology and surgery. The Specialty Clinic Supervisor serves as a liaison between providers, staff, patient, and hospital leadership to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient rooming, including obtaining vital signs, collecting medical histories, and performing medication reconciliation.
• Accurately process provider orders in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate prescription refill request and prior authorizations.
• Schedule and coordinate diagnostic testing, ensuring results are received and available prior to patient appointments.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures as needed.
• Perform telephone triage and coordinate patient care with providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate referrals and assist with obtaining and forwarding medical records to outside facilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and adequately stocked clinical environment.
• Adhere to infection control standards, patient privacy regulations, and safety guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily clinic operations and workflow to ensure efficient patient scheduling and throughput.
• Supervise Specialty Clinic staff, including orientation, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding clinic policies, procedures, and patient care processes.
• Assist with staffing coverage and workflow adjustments to meet patient and provider needs.
• Monitor clinic productivity and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to implement process improvements and achieve departmental goals.
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, professionalism, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• BLS certification required

Experience:
• Previous supervisory, leadership, or clinic management experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinic or specialty care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes preferred.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with providers, staff, and hospital leadership.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of patients or equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
• Bending, stooping, and reaching as needed during patient care activities.
